Hello friends and welcome to the very first episode of the Joyful movement show!!
I’m thrilled to have finally jumped into the podcasting world – it’s been a dream of mine for a long time and while I can’t say I’m a 100% confident, I’m a believer in taking imperfect action because let’s face it – we’re never really ready to start something new, are we? But I know this – that there’s a whole lot of women out there who are struggling with willpower, motivation, body image, avoiding exercise or feeling like they need to kill themselves at the gym in an effort to get that ideal body, and I can’t wait one more day to share my message of joyful, body respecting movement to help you learn to embrace and care for the body you have -right now!
In this week’s episode, I share my personal journey through early exercise trauma and poor body image to discovering my power through fitness to obsession with the “thin ideal” to finally finding my way into joyful movement, intuitive eating and body acceptance.
