Meet Your Trainer
Hey! I’m Kim, and let me tell you – I get it.
I’m a bit of a fitness misfit myself.
I was the kid who got picked last for all the sports teams – so a career in fitness is the last thing anyone would have expected for me.
I discovered fitness in my 30’s and for the first time in my life felt strong, empowered and proud of what my body could do.
Unfortunately what started out as a healthy habit, quickly turned into a disordered obsession – after all, I was taught in my personal training course that “my body is my business card”.
I’ve since recovered and redefined my relationship with exercise as a form of self care… rather than a form of punishment purely to shrink my body.
And now, as a person who lives with chronic illness and pain, I understand all too well how the typical approach to fitness simply doesn’t work for people like us.
As a Size Inclusive Fitness Specialist and Certified Body Image Coach, I’m on a mission to make the real benefits of movement available to all people – regardless of size or ability. I believe that our bodies are meant to move and that there’s a type of movement for every body, and that by switching our focus from body shaping to self-care, we can all become joyful movers.

Your Four Week Journey:
Over the next 4 weeks, you’ll gradually build your strength and confidence with accessible, full-body workouts:
- Week 1: Learn the basics, focus on form, and get comfortable with your bands.
- Week 2: Increase the challenge slightly, adding more reps and intensity.
- Week 3-4: Feel stronger, more balanced, and more confident in your movements.

What You’ll Need:
All you need to get started is a set of resistance bands (I’ll provide recommendations if you need to buy a set) , comfortable clothes, and about 15-30 minutes, three times a week. It’s that simple!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the workouts?
The movement sessions start out at about 15 minutes and gradually progress up to ab out 30 min.
I have bad knees, will I be able to do this program?
Yes! I’ve designed these workouts to be low impact and easy on the joints, so it’s perfect for people with arthritis, or other conditions that often make exercise painful.
There are some movements that are done on the floor, so it is helpful if you can get up and down off the floor, however there are modifications if you can’t.
What happens after the four weeks?
Once the program is up, you’re welcome to do it again (you would have to re-enroll), or you can explore my in person and virutal fitness offerings.
Is my situation too complex for this program?
While I’ve designed this program to cater to folks who feel like “fitness misfits”, it isn’t for everyone. If you feel that you need a more custom approach and closer supervision over your movement, I recommend reaching out to me about personal training.
