Develop a kinder relationship with your body so you can consistently fuel and move it in a way that supports your health without restricting food, doing tortuous exercise or constantly worrying about the number on the scale.

Right Body for Me

A group coaching program for women who want to feel great in AND about their body.

With Kim Hagle––Body Image Coach, Size-Inclusive Personal Trainer and  Non-Diet Nutritionist

Know that you and your body are enough exactly as you are

Trust yourself to make healthy choices without rules or rigid plans

Feel crazy confident at any size

In Right Body for Me,

you’ll learn how to  respect your body so you can

chase health on your terms

while also fostering a healthy self-image

Fix Your Self-Image,

NOT Your Body

Right Body for Me is not like any other “wellness program” you’ve tried – Thank Goodness!

Because, let’s face it – all the diets, meal plans, workout programs, shake systems, cleanses have only yielded temporary results at best.

And even with those temporary results, did you ever actually reach a place of true self acceptance?

The truth is, your body is not the problem.

“Fixing” your body doesn’t fix your body image, nor does it guarantee health or wellbeing.

Health is so much more than what you eat, how you exercise and the number on the scale.

And confidence – well, that’s an inside job.

You don’t need another meal plan and workout regime.

You don’t need me to hold you accountable.

You already know how to eat well and exercise…

… you just don’t trust that what you know is good enough.

That’s because you’ve been taught by our appearance obsessed society, that achieving some arbitrary body ideal is the only way to feel healthy, happy and confident.

In Right Body for Me, I’ll teach you how to know that you’re on the right track with your health without measuring success on the scale, and how to find that confidence you desire in whatever body you have

just like I did.

Hey gorgeous! I’m Kim.

I’m a Weight Neutral Personal Trainer, Non-Diet Nutritionist and Certified Health and Life Coach who specializes in helping women find body acceptance.

I know exactly how you feel, because I’ve been where you are.

Yo-yo dieting, shakes, challenges, extreme workout plans, cleanses – I’ve tried them all.

I know how it feels to think that if you could just lose those 20 lbs, everything in your life would be better.  Maybe you’d go after that job you dream of; maybe you and your partner would get along better; maybe you think you’d have more energy, less pain and sleep better.

It’s pretty easy to think that losing weight is the answer when all we hear is that thinness is the solution to pretty much EVERY problem.  That’s Diet Culture talking, by the way.

In my own pursuit of “health”, I found myself getting more and more out of control with food, exercising obsessively and my sense of “confidence” hung in the balance of maintaining a certain physique – one that I could not sustain.

Eventually, I realized that health was so much more than just eating the “right” things and exercising regularly. My mental, emotional and spiritual health mattered too!

I also learned that I don’t have to love how my body looks in order to feel great about myself and treat myself with kindness.  I now know what true confidence is, and it has nothing to do with my appearance or my achievements.

I simply know that I’m enough, no matter what – I have my own back in every situation.

That’s true confidence

And that’s why I do what I do!

As I opened up about my own struggles with my body, I realized I’m not alone – that so many other women feel confused, frustrated and like a failure because they can’t attain or sustain the so-called “ideal”.

I became a non-diet and weight neutral coach to help women just like you pursue health and wellbeing in a sustainable way, by treating yourself with kindness and respect.

Right Body for Me will help you quiet your inner critic, and learn to be your own best friend so you can support yourself to become the healthiest, most kick-ass confident version of yourself.

If “confidence” is achieved or lost through body changes, it’s not real confidence

Think about your best friend – how much does her body play into your opinion of her?

It doesn’t at all, does it?

You think she’s amazing, love her unconditionally, and would do anything for her  – just because she’s HER.

In Right Body for Me, you’ll learn how to treat yourself with the same unconditional kindness and respect.

I’ll show you how to turn down the volume of the mean girl in your head and see yourself the way others do.

As a result, making healthy choices will feel easy and fun, instead of like this thing you can never get right.

You don’t have to LOVE your body in order to love yourself!

Nurture a Trusting Relationship with Your Body

Right Body for Me is the only program of its kind that explores eating, exercise, body image and mindset – all from a health at every size, weight neutral perspective

This program will help you get to the root of your struggles so that you can experience real and lasting transformation and finally achieve your health goals.

The educational content inside Right Body for Me is structured around 4 key pillars.

Pillar 1: Mindset

For the first 6 weeks, the learning objective is to get to the root of your struggles with motivation and willpower, never able to achieve your health and fitness goals.

You’ll learn how to finally stop dieting for good and the mindset framework you need to stop relying on rewards or willpower to move and eat well.

You’ll learn a valuable tool that will help you reframe your thoughts and beliefs so that you can get the results you want – consistent, sustainable health habits and feeling great in AND about your body.

You’ll replace self-criticism for self-compassion and develop the belief that you’re worthy of respect even if you don’t love how your body looks.

Pillar 2: Body Image

Next,  you’ll begin to explore how your body image was formed and how you’ve been socialized to hate your body and fear weight gain.

Getting dressed in the morning will feel fun and easy, because you’ll feel comfortable in everything you own.

Instead of constantly worrying about whether you’re good enough or if people are judging you based on your appearance, you’ll feel a sense of gratitude for your body and what it allows you to do in life.  You’ll be more present with your family, more comfortable with your partner and more willing to say YES to your life.

By the end of this module, you’ll trust yourself to make good decisions about your health no matter your size and to advocate for yourself with health care providers.

Pillar 3: Joyful Movement

In this section, the learning switches gears to examine how toxic fitness culture has stolen your joy for movement.

No more waiting for motivation to strike, or mustering up willpower – instead you’ll actually WANT to move your body simply for the good feelings it brings!

You’ll ditch the “no pain no gain” mentality, and trust that what you’re doing is enough.

You’ll get off the start-stop cycle with exercise and feel motivated without the need for accountability or rewards.

You’ll learn how to set “real life” fitness goals, unique to your needs and abilities and you’ll make steady progress without measuring success on the scale.

As your confidence grows, you’ll start saying YES to adventures you never thought you could do – hiking, cycling, skating, rock climbing – the world is your oyster!

Pillar 4: Intuitive Eating

In the last 6 weeks of the program we will dive into the concepts of intuitive eating and relearn how to eat normally, just like you did before diet culture got a hold of you.

You’ll learn how to tap into your body’s signals to tell you what, when and how much to eat, rather than relying on a meal plan or My Fitness Pal to dictate your choices.

You’ll learn tools to cope with your emotions so that you don’t turn to food whenever you’re sad, bored or stressed.

You’ll  order what you WANT off the menu, rather than what’s “on plan” without stressing about how you’re going to burn it off.

As you heal your relationship with food and reawaken the PLEASURE of eating; you’ll have a lot more fun cooking and experimenting with food.

Finally, you’ll trust yourself to keep your “trigger foods” in the house without worrying that you’ll eat the whole bag at once.

But knowledge alone will only take you so far.

The real magic lies in the coaching.

My clients say my super power is my ability to meet you exactly where you’re at and ask just the right questions to help you see where you’re getting in your own way.

I’ll be beside you every step of your journey,  guiding you to implement what you’ve learned and ensuring you don’t give up on yourself when you feel stuck.

I promise that if you show up, do the work and are willing to be coached – there’s no way you can fail!

“Coaching with Kim really helped me take the next steps when it comes to feeling confident and comfortable in my body.

As a fitness instructor myself, I knew that Kim would understand the pressure I felt to conform to the stereotype.

I had already waded into the shallow end of the anti-diet movement, but coaching with Kim gave me the tools to deal with negative thoughts and influences and set me on the road of being diet free and helping others to do the same.”

– Natalie T. (Listen to Natalie’s story on the podcast)

Debby

“I’m sitting on the beach, in a bathing suit, and it just dawned on me that I’m not covering my body.

Not even thinking that someone might be offended by my body, laugh at me or judge me.

I’ve come a long way! And I’m still learning.

I’m beginning to live a life where accepting the body that I have and knwoing it doesn’t define me or my worth.

  – Debby M, ON (Listen to Debby’s story on the podcast!)

“Years of dieting and unhealthy relationships with food and exercise has left me feeling trapped with low body image. I decided that I wanted to change, not only for myself but for my children.

I want to model a healthy relationship to food, exercise and my body.

Working with Kim has helped me immensely. The program is set up to first work on the thoughts that fuel the unhealthy core beliefs. This was pivotal for me as it’s nothing I have ever learned or tried in the past through programs or counseling.

Creating new thoughts allows you to better work through challenges around unhealthy relationships with food, body image and exercise. Kim was there every step of the way.” – Robyn M,  ON (Listen to Robyn’s story on the podcast!)

Right Body For Me

Develop a kinder relationship with your body so you can consistently fuel and move it in a way that supports your health without restricting food, doing tortuous exercise or constantly worrying about the number on the scale

“Finally, some freedom! Freedom from dieting. Freedom from feeling like I ‘should’ or ‘shouldn’t’ be doing something.

Working with Kim has brought me clarity around my beliefs about my body. I’ve been on and off diets for my entire adult life.  I’ve forced myself to do physical activity I hated because I thought I should or I was told to.

I’m only part way through Kim’s coaching program and I can already feel the freedom of not being on a diet or having food restrictions, choosing movement I enjoy. The aha moments I’m experiencing along the way are incredible!”

– Stacey A, Goderich ON (Listen to Stacey’s story on the podcast!)

zara

“I had a lot of anxiety about exercise and I always felt misunderstood.

When I shared this with you, you got it – I’ve never seen that in a trainer.

You’ve moved me to move without even talking about exercise.

Through the self-coaching model, I now feel confident to move again in ways that feel good for me.”

– Zara B, Kansas (Listen to Zara’s story on the podcast!)

If you’ve been hesitant about investing in coaching, it’s something you really should consider.   Until I’ve actually been involved in it and doing the work, I hadn’t realized how valuable it was to have someone holding my feet to the fire.

Being supported to delve deeper than I would on my own has been so valuable.  I’d highly recommend it.

– Jennifer M, ON (Listen to Jennifer’s story on the podcast)

Kim will tell you the real truth, rather than what diet culture has led us to believe for our whole lives…!

She is knowledgeable and has a way to work with even the most difficult of circumstances.

She always knew what to say and how to elicit the good stuff.

FAQ

What if I really want or need to lose weight?

You’re not alone in that desire!

I know that it seems like you couldn’t possibly feel healthy, happy or confident unless you reach a certain size.  Maybe you’ve even been told you have to lose weight for “health reasons”.

I can’t make any predictions about what will happen to your weight as a result of doing this work.  Some people lose, some people gain, and some stay the same.

What I can tell you is that 95% of intentional weight loss efforts fail within 2-5 years and usually results in more weight gained than before; and that repeated losing and gaining of weight causes more health problems than just being in a higher BMI.

If you can put weight loss on the back burner for the moment, and focus instead on creating sustainable habits from a place of body-respct, you will feel healthier physically, mentally and emotionally.

However, if weight loss is your one and only goal, this may not be the program for you.

I’ve tried so many things. How do I know this will work for me?

Of course you would wonder that!  I know that you’ve tried about a zillion plans and programs that have only left you even more confused, back where you started and feeling like a failure. The biggest difference here is we’re not measuring success on the scale.

All of my clients have experienced things they never dreamed possible.

When you learn to treat yourself with kindness and respect, improved health is inevitable.  As long as you show up, do the work and are coachable, there’s no way you can fail.

That said,  lack of self-belief is the #1 reason I see women shy away from this work.

Let’s get on a call and talk about your hesitations.  I’ll coach you on your fears, and help you tune into your body compass, which will give you a taste of what this work is like, and you’ll feel empowered to make a quality decision without any pressure or sleazy sales tactics.

Why is the program 6 months long?

Changing your relationship with food, movement and your body takes time!

Think about it – since you’ve been a young child you’ve been taught not to trust yourself with food and exercise (“you need to eat more”; “no desert until you clear your plate”; “are you sure you need that second helping”; “you’re going to have to work hard to burn all that off”…).

Unlearning all that diet culture and fat-phobic messaging and relearning how to trust your body’s cues takes time and practice.

I’ll be here for you every step of the way!

I’ve done lots of reading about intuitive eating and health at every size, but it hasn’t really worked for me.

That’s not uncommon.  Knowing the concepts is one thing but in order to get lasting change you have to embody them.

Most people experience what is known as a pendulum swing when they first reject diet culture. It can feel like you’re out of control with food and completely unmotivated to move your body, which understandably brings up fear that you’re heading down an unhealthy path.

That’s where coaching comes in.  I have been down this path myself and have supported dozens of others too.  I know how to mitigate the pendulum swing and how to keep you on course when you’re feeling afraid or stuck.

Do you offer refunds or a money back guarantee?

Yes!

We have a “Do the work” guarantee.  If within the first 30 days of the program, you’ve done the work by coming to coaching calls, watching the lessons and doing the reflection exercises and you really feel that this is not the program for you – we’ll refund your money.
