How Strength Foundations Works:
Workout at Home or at the Gym
Strength Foundations is delivered via a mobile app and uses only dumbbells, so you have the option of working out in your own space, or at your local gym.
Fits Easily Into Your Life
Just 3 sessions per week, 20-30 minutes each. Because I’d rather you consistently do something small than sporadically attempt something huge.
Simple Equipment
Just dumbbells. That’s it. No complicated machines, no long shopping lists, no wondering if you’re doing it “right.”

You’ll get 3 strength building workouts per week that you can do anytime that suits your schedule.
Sessions are about 20-30 minutes each and progrress in difficulty each week.

Hey! I’m Kim,
…a self-proclaimed fitness misfit turned Size Inclusive Fitness Specialist and Certified Body Image Coach.
I wasn’t the sporty kid growing up, and fitness wasn’t on my radar until my 30s. That’s when I discovered the empowering feeling of strength and pride in what my body could do. But like many, I fell into the trap of thinking my body had to look a certain way to be worthy.
Now, as someone living with chronic illness and pain, I’ve redefined movement as self-care, not punishment.
My mission? To make the benefits of movement accessible to everyone—no matter their size, ability, or fitness history.
I believe every body is meant to move, and when we focus on how movement makes us feel rather than how it makes us look, we can all find joy in it.

What if I'm a complete beginner
A: This program assumes basic knowledge of working with dumbbells. If you’ve never lifte weights before, or are starting over after a long break, I recommend starting with my beginner level program “Begin and Build”
What if I have chronic pain or mobility limitations?
Every exercise has modifications, and you have direct access to me through the app for personalized guidance. I live with chronic illness myself and designed this with our needs in mind.
What dumbbells do I need?
We’ll start lightish and build gradually. Most people get 2-3 sets ranging from 5-20 pounds, but it really depends on where you’re starting from. Once you join, you can text me and I’ll provide specific guidance on what weights to get based on your needs and goals.
What if I can't do 3 workouts some weeks?
Life happens! The program is designed to be flexible. Do what you can when you can, and we’ll adjust as needed.
Will this help me lose weight?
This program focuses on building strength, improving mobility, and creating sustainable habits. Any changes to your body are a side effect, not the goal.
How do I know if this is right for me?
