EP 97 – Your Body is a Vehicle to Experience Life – Joe’s Story
Show Notes
Joe “Dawg” Hallam is our guest on the show today, sharing the message that it’s not just women who struggle with body image.
As someone who has struggled with his weight for his whole life, and like most people believed that when he achieved the so-called “ideal” weight, he’d be happier, healthier and more confident. However, he noticed when he achieved the lower weight, he felt anxiety, rather than confidence; he felt like a stranger to himself AND he definitely was not healthier.
In this interview, Joe shares how, through coaching, he has learned to view his body as the vehicle he uses to experience life. As a car guy, he now knows, it’s not about changing the car, it’s about taking care of and appreciating the one you have.
